The firm

Lamits GmbH is registered in Freiburg im Breisgau and holds official Odoo Partner status. Our development subsidiary, Lamits Company Limited, operates from Ho Chi Minh City. Two entities, one delivery standard, one codebase discipline.

The split is deliberate rather than opportunistic. Consulting, architecture and client work sit in Freiburg, in the same time zone and legal framework as the businesses we serve. Development capacity sits in Vietnam, which is how a firm this focused can staff a group rollout and a webshop integration in the same quarter.

Who leads the work

Lamits was founded by Tin Lam, who has worked with Odoo since version 7 and has been migrating production systems since version 8 — every release since. Migration is the part of this work he knows best.

More than ten years of that has been in the DACH region, including as Head of Development at the region's leading Odoo partner. Hundreds of projects, across businesses with very little in common: the requirement that arrives today has usually arrived before, in another industry, under a different name.

He stays on the projects he scopes. There is no handover to a junior once the contract is signed.

How we work

Standard Odoo first, community modules second, custom code last — and we tell you which tier a requirement landed in and why. Every hour of custom development is an hour someone maintains forever, so it needs to earn its place.

The same discipline applies to infrastructure. Everything is defined as code, deployed through CI, reproducible. No undocumented changes on a production server, ever.
